Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is preferred with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion preferred

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

NIHSS (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Every other weekend, every other holiday, no on call, no block scheduling available.

Interview or Auto Offer: Interview Number of Openings: 1

Unit: ACE (Acute Care of Elderly) Unit Experience

Required: At least 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg-Tele unit required

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Additional Skills/Information: Prior experience with geriatric patients strongly preferred

Will be working on a stroke overflow unit

Patient population includes adults aged 60+ 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio Diverse patient population

Required Education: -Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
