Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Block Schedules: No

Community Hospital Experience - Preferred

Schedule: Friday - Saturday

Performs CAT Scan Radiology studies, CT techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, obstetrics and gynecology scans, radiation therapy localization for treatment planning, and minor surgical procedures

No Call

Special Requirements: Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

May come into contact with Covid Patients

Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics

Siemens experience - Required

All others is preferred

RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.

No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment

Return Staff Policy: If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
