Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

12 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 1 year strong Cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)

2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required.

Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience without Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips.

Required Credentials: Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire

Unit/Facility Details: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure, Fem Pop Bypass

Special Requests: Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday
