Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Guaranteed 36-48 hour every week, minimum of 36

Shift: 6a-6P, or 7a-7P.

What areas do they cover: Inpatient, Outpatient, ER.
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 1 year of RT experience for dayshift, Must have 3 years of experience for night shift. Must ABGs blood draw experience. Must have OB experience in assisting with newborns.
Job Duties: Manage all resp equipment, Percussion therapy (willing to train), 12 Lead EKGs for inpatient and clinic settings (Not ER), ABG blood draws. Perm RT will do PFTs, travelers won't be asked to oversee this.
Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist?: Assist with intubation.

Schedule is made out for 4 weeks at a time, travelers are asked to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent scheduling.

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend or every 3rd weekend.
Holiday Requirements: May be ask to go into the Holiday Rotation.
Call or standby call requirement?: No call; Could be asked to be standby.
What is call response time: None
Floating Requirements: Will be asked to oversee the entire hospital.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color scrubs.
Department Specific Orientation: 1 day general, 1 day with a preceptor.
