Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Type of equipment – Lucas Device, Nurse run Lab, Ventilator, CPAP/BiPap, Blanketrol, Lifepack 15.

Must have experience working in designated trauma facility.

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. -Experience working in a Freestanding ER, Paramedic License/Certification -Experienced with running lab equipment (Picolo, Istat, Triage Meter, ID Now, Clinitek)

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
-Chest Tubes Placement, Intubations, Conscious sedations, Wound repair -Splinting using Orthoglass, Nebulizer treatment, Ventilator

Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue.

Weekends and On call(if any) -Must work at least 2 weekend shifts every 2 weeks.
