Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 4 years.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

Additional Details:

ER/Med Surg

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Able to function independently in the ER and function in MS unit with up to 5 patients.
  • 6 months MS exp in the past year
  • 6 months ER exp in the past year

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

  • Med Surg and ER Nursing.

Equipment Used on Unit:

  • Sanford One Charge, Pixis,

Unit/Facility Details:

  • For Med/Surg - typicaly 3 to 4 to one - depending on census and acuity

Previous Employment Requirements:

  • MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Day/Night Rotate
  • Every other weekend and holiday.
  • One on call shift every 13 week

Floating Requirements:

  • Will float between ER and Med Surg
