RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - Must have left in good status, if former employee.
ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)
Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.
Schedule: Wed-Fri, then Sun-Tue followed by 7 days off (6 On / 7 Off)
Weekend Requirement: Wed-Fri, Sun-Tue
Call Requirement: None
Floating Requirement: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility.
Certifications: Fluoro Permit preferred.
BLS: Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
Clinician to Patient Ratio - 1:1
Teaching Hospital Experience preferred.
Community Hospital Experience required.
Parking Cost: No Fee
RTO - 6 days total or 3 consecutive days can be auto-approved. Anything more, traveler will sign contract with pending RTO.
*Anything more than 6 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around please limit total RTO requests. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)
References Required: 2 Supervisory References covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) within last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead.
Background Policy to be noted prior to submission – Any hits we have to send for approval.
Return Staff Policy - 3 months between perm and travel.
