Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience within the past 2 years.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 48 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 24 months.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

PALS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.

Preferred Skills/Experience: post open heart surgery, CRRT, ECMO

Types of Patients on Unit: Critical Care (mixed unit – all diagnoses)

Equipment Used on Unit: Abbot Plum Pumps, CADD pumps, Medfusion pumps, Philips monitors, Drager vents

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 8 (+2 swing beds on pediatric inpatient unit)

Special Requests: Travel Pairs are not accepted.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: 6 weekend shifts (Friday/Sat night) per time block (unless otherwise noted) // Weekend required but No set weekends

Floating Requirements: Float to NICU, inpatient pediatrics, Peds resource RN role
