Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Emergency Department experience.
BSN completion required
12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from last 12 months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum one year of recent pediatric emergency department experience required

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in trauma, procedural sedation, and pediatric triage strongly preferred

Experience in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center or Magnet/top 10 children’s hospital

Strong pediatric triage and trauma response skills

Special Requests: Travelers must be available to work at least one winter holiday (including the eve and night of)

Options include: Thanksgiving Eve/Thanksgiving Night or Christmas Eve/Christmas Night

No RTO (Requested Time Off) approved within the first two weeks of the assignment

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other or equivalent

Floating Requirements: Potential to float to Anschutz ED if needed with proper orientation
