Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 36 months of Occupational Therapy experience.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted with proper experience

Adult Rehabilitation Facility, Activities of Daily Living, Adaptive Equipment, Home Assessment, Pre-Discharge Planning, Evaluation Tools, Adaptive Equipment Assessment (Adult), Cognitive Assessment, Adult, Amputee, CVA Rehabilitation, Billing/Documentation, Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Lifting and transfer, Patient/Family Education, Safety and injury prevention.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Comprehensive Inpatient and Acute care experience with neurological (stroke/Brain impairment experience required and spinal cord would be a bonus but not required), as well as amputee experience.

Acute Care, Community Re-entry, Other Perceptual Assessment, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Upper Extremity, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Electrical Stimulation, Splinting, Quality Indicators, Vision assessments.

Community Hospital Experience

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Unit/Facility Details: Works with adults and geriatrics

This position will be part of a multidisciplinary rehab team PT/OT/SLP

We are an in-patient unit where our patients are required to receive at least 3 hours of therapy, 5 out of 7 days per week.

Special Requests: No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Open to 13-26 week contracts

Sunday-Thursday

One weekend day per month required
