Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 12 months.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Travel Pairs are not accepted.

RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.

RNs only - One year of unit experience must be within the last two years

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Float Requirements: We float to be helping hands in the ED or medical units, but never take a patient assignment, usually participate in 1:1 watches. We take occasional ASU overflow/post op patients and infusion (non-chemo) patients when our census is low.

• Education Modules (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request): Relias FHR and HTN modules required annually by all staff. Will assign after starting on the unit.

LDRPs on a small unit with low volume. RNs must be comfortable with antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn care.

• Equipment: Philips Intellispace Fetal Monitoring.

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Strong L&D as well as basic postpartum skills.

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: NB care, breastfeeding initiation and support.

• Type of Patients on Unit: Generally low risk.

• Scrub Color: navy blue.
