Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Advanced AWHONN FHM (Preferred)

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience:

• High risk L&D - Must have high risk experience

• Previous Charge experience and/or preceptor

• Labor and Delivery Management, Assist with high risk delivery, Circulate for C-section, Work Settings, High Risk Antepartum, Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Antepartum Care and Procedures, Circulate

Preferred Skills/Experience: Triage of obstetrical patients

Required Credentials:

• Drivers License/State ID: Government issued photo ID

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Call required - 36hrs in 6 weeks or 12 hrs per pay-period (must be on premises within 45 mins of receiving call)

• Every other weekend required

• Every other holiday required

Floating Requirements: Mom/Baby, postpartum, etc.
