Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

RN - ER/Med Surg

Schedule is posted 4 weeks at a time. Block scheduling available on night shift.

Weekend requirement to be determined at time of request.

13-bed Critical Access Facility with ER (3 bays) and an Acute Care unit.

The majority of patients will be seen in the ER with an average of 1-5 patient visits per shift. The number of inpatient patient days at this facility is very low.

Minimum two (2) years of experience working in ER and Med Surg; RN will need to be very skilled in Emergency Room.

Preferably an RN who has previously worked in a Critical Access Facility or a community hospital.

No Respiratory Therapists are available so the RN should be comfortable with BiPAP to stabilize the patient until transport to a larger facility may happen.

No code team available, RN must be able to start IVs.

Traveler will need reliable transportation as Red Cloud is a rural community and no public transportation (bus, Uber, Lyft, ect) is available.

State issued photo ID or state issued Drivers License required to be current at time of start.
