Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures: Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy

Work Settings: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab

Procedural Responsibilities: Equipment set up, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub - maintain sterile field

Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions

Special Requirements:

Required Work Setting Experience: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab.

Required Cardiac Cath Lab Procedure Skills/Experience: Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Scrub Procedures.

Required Procedural Responsibility Skills/Experience: Equipment setup, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.

Required Infection Control Skills/Experience: Isolation Precautions, Sterile Technique.

Required Age Specific Competencies: Middle and Older Adult.

Unit / Facility Details: Parking Cost: Parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Allied clinicians that do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 days prior to start for fingerprints

Shift & Scheduling: 13 - 26 Weeks

5x8s, 3x12, 4x12s, 4x10s

Will work 2-3 weekends per contract

On-Call: Call required as needed, rotating with staff and agency. Call frequency details to be discussed with manager, flexible per census.
