Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience within the past 3 years.

BSN completion required

1 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Additional Details:

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

For units that auto offer : A maximum of 5 days RTO and no holidays will be approved automatically. RTO over 5 days and holiday requests will have to be reviewed by the facility, which will delay the process.

Unit/Facility Details: ED PSYCH. Separate unit from the ED. Travelers may hold cleared psych patients in the ED in addition to CPEP but does not require care of medical ED patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Start Dates: Weekly start dates 4-6 weeks on average needed to complete compliance.

• Every other weekend.
