Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience.
Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

Inpatient, Phase I PACU, Cardiac Monitoring, Arterial line management, Dysrhythmia recognition/management, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Medications, IV vasopressors, Narcotics/Opioid Analgesics, Reversal agents, Neurological, External ventricular drain (EVD), ICP monitoring, Respiratory, Care of Ventilated Patient, Types of Anesthesia, Conscious Sedation, Post-epidural management, General, Local, Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC), Nerve Blocks, Spinal, Professional Topics and Skills, Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol, Pain assessment & management, PCA pump and management, RASS (Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale), Surgery Cases, Bariatrics, ENT, General, Gyn, Neuro, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Vascular.

Preferred Skills/Experience: SICU, MICU and CTICU experience

Special Requests: RTO due at time of submission, RTO after submission will not be accepted

Shift & Scheduling:

  • 6:00am-6:30pm or 8:00am - 8:30pm w/ call
  • 6:00a-6:30p is pre-op, 8:00am - 8:30pm is post-op
  • Weekend requirement: only if on call
  • Call requirement: Nurses will enter the Friday Night and Weekend Rotation. Two weeknights per six-week period. One Winter/One Summer Holiday On-call. They should expect 3 on-call shifts in a 6 week period.

Floating Requirements: Possible float if needed to the Tabor GI or pain center
