Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Alaris is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

PALS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have EVD and trach/vent experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Trach/vent, DKA, respiratory, surgical (trachs, g-tubes, shunts, hernia repairs, seizures) no cardiac.

Unit/Facility Details: # of Beds: 12 (in summer census is around 4, and winter months 6).

Special Requests: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: 5 shifts in 6 weeks. Holiday Requirement: potentially- expect to work at least 1 during a contract.

Floating Requirements: Peds for full assignment, frequent floating. May float for a mandatory patient sitter assignment as well.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System
