Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Within past 8 months, candidate must have worked in an ED setting that has at least 45,600 visits per yr (125/day)

Must have triage experience - hard stop

Required Skills: Work Settings, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory, CPAP/BiPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Triage

General ED combined adult/pediatric setting experience

Triage, IV Starts, and Phlebotomy

Preferred Skills / Experience: Previous Charge Experience, Community Hospital Experience

Charge experience

Required Credentials: Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms

Unit / Facility Details: Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
