Required Skills/Experience: Will accept 1st time travelers if they have level I trauma experience. Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Respiratory, CPAP/BiPAP, Neurological, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Neuro-Trauma, Traumatic Brain injury, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Level II Trauma Center, Pediatrics, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Triage, Orthopedics, Ortho trauma.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: Arterial line management, Central line care/management, IV vasopressors, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Ventilated patients, Spinal cord injury, Level I Trauma Center, Head injury, Near drowning, Spinal cord injury, Isolation Precautions.
Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Photo ID card.
Unit/Facility Details: Psych center associated with ED, but will not float.
Special Requests: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission – no exceptions.
Shift & Scheduling: Alternating weekends and holidays. 50% holidays and every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Between ED and ED Obs.
