Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Rehabilitation Unit experience.

ASN completion required

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Requirements: Saturday and Sunday, Every 3rd weekend

Holiday Requirement: Labor Day

Block Schedules: No

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

Orientation Hours: 180

RTO is due at time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted.

Float Requirement: May float to any of the 4 units at Magee if needed

Required Credentials: BSN

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge, Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, and LTAC Experience

Patient Population: Adults

Common Diagnoses: SCI, Brain Injury, Stroke, General Rehab

Equipment Used on Unit: Overhead lift, Transfer aids, Mechanical wheelchairs

Unit Details: 21 beds, ventilated patients
