Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Special Requests: All time off must be included on submission to be considered. Time off not included on submission will not be requested or approved.

Shift & Scheduling: 5 weekend shifts in 6 weeks and 1 major and 1 minor holiday. Must be willing to take 1-2 on call shift per schedule.

Floating Requirements: To ECCs; Must be willing to float to one of the offsite ED's. One in Fairfax City – it has 10 beds and sees about 40 patients a day. The other is in the Reston/Herndon area – it has 7 beds and sees about 25 patients a day.
