Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Additional Details:

Nephrology Telemetry

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Previous Employment Requirements:

Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.
All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 1-2 years preferred

Required Credentials: Government issued ID required

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: COVID, unstable cardiac (HF, a-fib, MI, etc.), renal failure

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults

Equipment Used on Unit: Lift equipment

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds 27, Daily Census 25

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend, For day shift it is every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday -depends on who already is on rotation

Floating Requirements: May float to similar units

You will not interview with the hiring manager if the facility chooses to extend an offer to you for this position. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
