Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

12 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.

Preferred 12 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

This position covers the ambulatory pediatric pulmonary and sleep clinic at the CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital. The tests that we perform are:

Spirometry Testing DLCO (diffusion capacity of carbon monoxide) FENO (fraction of exhaled nitric oxide) Body Box (Body Plethysmography) MVV (Maximum Voluntary Ventilation MIP/MEP (Maximum Inspiratory and Expiratory pressures Six Minute Walk test Incentive Spirometry Spacer Teaching 4 Puffs Albuterol Cystic Fibrosis Sputum Swabs Methacholine Challenge
