Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.
BSN completion required
Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role
License

PICU Float Pool
Required Skills/Experience:
- Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
- Cornell requires experience at a large academic setting (teaching hospital)
- Skills Checklist in required skill set – matching order skill set EMR experience
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekly start dates 4-6 weeks on average needed to complete compliance
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating Requirements: Yes to areas within acuity. Willingness to Float to Units Appropriate for Skillset
For units that auto offer : A maximum of 5 days RTO and no holidays will be approved automatically. RTO over 5 days and holiday requests will have to be reviewed by the facility, which will delay the process.
