Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling:

12D/N or 12 N

Can do 13 weeks, or up to 1/24 end date. Manager preference is to end 1/3, 1/17 or 1/24 to assist with holiday coverage. Will prioritize these candidates.

If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.

Required Skills/Experience: Proficient in IV starts, Experience with telemetry monitoring

Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Special Requests: Submission of RTO required at the time of application. 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility discretion for a 14 weeks contract

Previous Employment Requirements:

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
