Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Will accept first time traveler with at least 3 years L&D experience.
  • Experience with all phases of Labor and Postpartum care, as well as care of well babies
  • Shoulder dystocia, Epidural management, nitrous as requested, intrathecal spinal analgesia, will go into C-sections only to catch babies and provide neonatal care – will not be required to circulate C-sections at this time.
  • Care of the newborn to include: VS, thermoregulation, hypoglycemia, bilirubin babies, NAS babies

Required Credentials: Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date

Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking? Yes

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Weekend rotation: Every other
  • Holiday Expectations: Every other

Floating Requirements: Float to MS or ED to task only (no patient assignment taken).
