Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.
No Block Scheduling.
Unit Details:
Number of Beds – 44 beds
Number of Staff – 95
Equipment used in unit: Type of equipment – IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, Chest tube, Trachs, Patient lifts.
Required Skills/Experience: Neuro and Trauma Care experience.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments performed on the unit:
Neuro and spinal checks C-Collar placement, TLSO braces Chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusions Lumber drain Feeding tube placement Blood transfusion
Floating Area(s): Stepdown units, Med-surg units.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekends and On call(if any): Every other weekend.
