Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Additional Details:

Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.

Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date.

Required Skills/Experience:

1 year of Behavioral Health nursing.
Skills required: De-escalation experience, experience with physical restraints (chemical restraints are NOT used).

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric BH experience.

Required Credentials: MOAB is obtained on site (part of orientation).

Unit and facility details: Traveler may have the opportunity to act as Charge.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other; Saturday/Sunday and Must be able to work holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float between pediatrics and adults as needed.
