Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit experience.
Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years required for submission (within specialty submitting to) We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp
- Must have experience and be proficient with swan-ganz monitoring
- Previous Charge Experience
- Accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, assist with management of BiPAP, assist with management of CPAP, care of ventilated patient, fresh tracheostomy, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), suctioning (ETT, NT), ventilator management, central venous pressure monitoring (CVP), coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), epicardial pacing wire care and management, post cardiac surgery (not directly from the OR), pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, sheath removal, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), valve repair/replacement, chronic/acute renal failure, continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, CVA/acute stroke management, infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, phlebotomy, surgical wounds with drains/wound vac, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG, IV insulin protocols.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Post craniotomy.
Special Requests: If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date, this must be communicated to the AM at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested.
