Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Orientation is weekly, on Mondays.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: yes, self scheduling but 5-6
Call Requirements: no scheduled call, however, we flexdown as needed based off acuity and census; rotation log for who is placed on call
Float Requirements: not required but if it is your turn to be placed on call/flexed down, in order to get guaranteed hours you can float.
Patient Ratios: per AWHONN recommendations
Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: neonate, peds and adult
Must Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of direct Labor and Delivery and Postpartum experience
Dress Code: Scrub Color: Black, Navy, White
Any unacceptable attire: No hoodies or clothing with other facility names on them
