Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
Required Credentials: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can't expire during the expected contract dates.
Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles
RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated
Types of Patients on Unit: Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Total knee replacements, total hip replacements, ankle replacements, total shoulders, spines- back and neck
Unit/Facility Details: They also will not take duos that want same schedule or share car.
Special Requests: Will not approve blocked scheduling unless it's weekends only, I can ask.
Shift & Scheduling: Self scheduling with cyclic rotation
Weekend Requirement: Every other
Floating Requirements: MedSurg, rehab, or PCU taking MedSurg acuity
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
