Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 12 months.
Experience with Omnicell is preferred from any number of months.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

NRP (Required)
Advanced AWHONN FHM (Preferred)

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Call Requirements: Yes

Unit census is anywhere from 3 – 24 patients

• EHR: Pwerchart / Omnicell Med System

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Neonates & Adults

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in L&D, LDRP and PP care. Must be able to manage a 3-couplet assignment.

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Level 1 Nursery, Mother/Baby, Circulate for C-Sections

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM ( External Fetal Heart Monitoring)

Floating required during periods of low census as helping hands only.
