Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Vents, drips (sedation, vasoactive, etc.), and stroke (using NIHSS, thrombolytics).

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge and Precepting experience strongly

Unit/Facility Details: Nurse Patient Ratios: 2 patients : 1 RN and 3-4 for borders

Will be required to work both ICU and PCU/Tele about 50/50

Special Requests: All time off must be included on submission to be considered. Time off not included on submission will not be requested or approved.

Shift & Scheduling: Ever other weekend

Holidays negotiable.

Floating Requirements: Between PCU and ICU (Mostly PCU)
