Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

No block schedule requests, 48 hour can be considered but not guaranteed
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
• Call Requirements: NONE ( we don’t schedule them to be on-call; but we can flex their scheduled shifts to an on call shift as needed twice in their contract
• Float Requirements: floating to other units (IMC, ED) in the hospital is an expectation
• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: adult/geriatric
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry; recent acute care experience ; can handle 6 patient ratio
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: at least 2 yrs RN experience; preceptor and charge experience is a plus;
• Type of Patients on Unit: total joint patients; surgical patients; ACS; pts with acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD; alcohol withdrawal; SIRS; GIB;
• Personality Fit: compassionate, positive, can-do attitude
• Required Education: ADN
• Scrub Color: black (top and bottom)
• Any unacceptable attire: open shoes
