Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 22 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Neurological.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: ICP monitoring.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: Free Parking.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Open to accommodating block schedule: Per unit needs.

Shift & Scheduling: Shifts start times can be 0700-1900. Weekend req: every other. Is on-call req: Yes.

Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by. Travelers refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
