Travel Allied (Cath Lab / Interventional Technologist) - Cardiac Cath Lab

Additional Details:

Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

Cardiovascular Invasive - Required

Required:

Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology, and the purpose and operation of equipment and supplies inherent in cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures

Knowledge and competency in moderate sedation administration and policy protocol

Knowledge of EP concepts, theory, and the fluoroscopic anatomy and physiology involved in diagnostic and interventional EP procedures

Advanced knowledge of EKG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition, analysis, and interpretation

Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English

Education: Associates Degree in Related Field or Certificate of completion for Radiology Program

Scheduling:

Call coverage up to 2 days during the week and one weekend a month

Holidays: Rotation

Weekend: Rotation

Floating: May float to Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital and/ or Carle Health Proctor Hospital
