Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Oncology Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Required Credentials:

ONS certified in ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy.

Preferred Credentials:

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

Our Outpatient Infusion Center encompasses multiple treatment modalities including procedural care, phlebotomy and lab draws, chemotherapy-biotherapy infusions, blood product administration, Bone Marrow Transplant patient care, clinical trial administration and monitoring, and urgent care visits. We provide education and emotional support to our patients and families through their visits.

Unit/Facility Details:

Oncology Op Infusion Center

Shift & Scheduling:

Mon- Fri 7:30a-8:30p; Sat,Sun (7:30a-4:30p).

Weekends Required: If department is in need of weekend shift could be scheduled; not typical.

Holidays Required: Must be able to work on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day.

Required Education: -Nursing Diploma. OR -ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing.

Preferred Education: -BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
