Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

No Blocking Schedules

Client is looking for ICU experience with strong Neuro checklist.

Stroke experience required

Charting System: Preferred, Any

Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

50% of holidays and weekends

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Daily Census: 13

Every other weekend

CPI Blue Card required

Patient Diagnoses: Craniotomy, Tumor resection, Drain placement, Complicated cervical spine Fraction, shunt placement, overflow unit for Level I trauma.

Special Procedures/Unit: EVD placement, ICP monitoring, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Seizure and Epilepsy Certified Center, Post-thrombolytic (TNK), Post-DSA (Angio likely post thrombectomy or stent)

Return Travelers: If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.
