Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units.

Mixed IMC/MS Tele Unit - Looking for IMC/MS hybrid

Shift & Scheduling: 0700-1930 & 1100-2330 -EOW & EOH. -No holiday RTO.

Floating Requirements: Float required to other MS floors. May be required to float to ER hold.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Required Skills/Experience: Step-down experience.

Required Credentials: BSSR Attestation

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Patient Diagnoses: COVID, general medical Special Procedures/Unit Details: Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all MMC Med Surg units

Communication with AIDET, great customer service and phone etiquette is an expectation

Mixed IMC/MS Tele Unit - Looking for IMC/MS hybrid

COVID - Vapotherm, End tidal CO2, Continuous Pulse Ox, Cardiac drips/titration, Heparin Drips, Insulin Drips
