Required:
Minimum two (2) years acute care experience
Strongly prefer 400+bed or level 2 trauma experience.
Travelers for MedSurg Surgical and Oncology and the RNs are required to float between units
Patient Ratio: 1/6 (1/8-9 if LPN present)
Patient Care Modality: 4 Central - oncology, general med surg 4 West: colectomy, mastectomy, appendicitic, bowel perforation.
Age range: 21+
Dress Code: Scrubs - Cobalt Blue
All travelers are required to float to units within their competencies.
No on call.
Hcp will be scheduled based upon need.
RTO must be on submission.
Must not have worked perm/per diem at NMMC in the last 12 months.
Orientations: Tupelo - RN/LPN Every Wednesday
All RNs will be required to take and pass a “pre assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm Strip) test and RNs should be prepared, passing score is 80%.
NMMC needs complete availability and flexibility with scheduling. This is non-negotiable
1st week does not have guaranteed hours.
