Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

18 months of Direct Observation Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from the last 2 years

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

Shift: D/N Rotation with Alternating Weekends

The Short Stay unit (SSU) is located on Level 4 of DHMC and directly adjacent to the Same Day Program. The unit is an 12-bed observation unit that will see all patient populations except pediatrics.

Our primary population includes observation surgical patients and cardiac catheterization, pacemaker’s urology and ortho as well as electrophysiology.
