Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required from last 3 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license

Chemo Oncology - Required

Every Other Weekend - Required

Manager to interview and offer

Must be chemo certified

Orientation: 3 days

Patient Family centered care

Dress Code: Scrubs - Royal Blue; Shoes - No open toe or crocs

Floating: Typically 1-2 units in a 12-hr. shift. Med/Surg., tele (to take Med/Surg. Assignment)

Scheduling: Float pool will be based out of the staffing office. Travelers will get a call/text to be notified of unit they will be working for upcoming

Weekend Requirements: 1 in 3 weekends

Call Requirements: No

Holiday Requirements: 2 Major

Patient Population: ESRD-Hemodialysis, Cystic Fibrosis, HIV, COPD, CHF, Liver Failure, Sepsis, Osteomyelitis, CVA.

Age Range: 18 to end of life

Nurses can take progressive patients at a lower staffing ratio of 1/3

Will not be expected to interpret Tele monitors

Nurses only start IVs
