Requirements
Experience
12 months of acute care experience.
12 months of role experience is preferred from last 12 months.
BSN completion preferred
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates should already have Level III experience and actively be working in Level III NICUs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred. Perinatal RN Residency or recently practicing in a Perinatal Setting is preferred. Level 3 or 4 NICU experience preferred

Required Credentials: STABLE (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants) certification required from one of the following courses: Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor

Special Requests: All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial on-boarding requirements are validated through successful completion of the designated organizational entry competency validation and a Perinatal Services-specific competency validation. Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.
