Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Infusion Center experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Illinois license

BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: IV Therapy/ Infusions, Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Infusion pump management, Intravenous hydration/multivitamins, PICC line care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Corticosteroids, Hormonal therapy, Work Settings, Infusion Center, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Symptom management, Nausea/vomiting

Special Requests: There will be a short 2-hour shift on each day of the weekend of November 8th and 9th and again on November 27th (Thanksgiving).

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Monday through Friday
  • The call requirement is a 2 hour scheduled shift on Saturday and Sunday every 5th weekend. They are given 2 hour call pay for these weekend shifts if they have to come out. Holiday call shift set up the same way and is typically reserved for daily antibiotic patients.

Floating Requirements: May float to Shiloh, IL campus, rare occurrence
