Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
22 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Nicotine free campus. Must test negative.

No Self Scheduling.

May float to other units in ICU cluster (PICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, IMU).

Travelers are first to float.

RNs should expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing for the facility.

Required:

Must have extensive experience in level 4 NICU (clearly noted on submission packet).

Level 1 or 2 NICU experience will not be considered.

EPIC experience must be noted on the packet.

Required to be available for 2/3 holidays

Patient Ratio: Based on acuity

Scheduling by manager or scheduler; no self scheduling.

No on call requirements.

Every other weekend is required.

Holidays required, as needed.

Typical patient population (diagnosis) / surgical procedures completed: 23 weeks micro-premies, VLBW, usual complications of prematurity, general surgeries, chronic lung, bleeds, spina bifida, diaphragmatic hernia, NEC perforation, gastro, cleft lip/palate/mandible, transfers from surrounding Level II NNICUs, PDA ligations, body cooling
