Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 34 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience.
Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: IV therapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains, Post Craniotomy, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, IV insulin protocols, Neuro Intensive Care Unit

Preferred Skills: Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/Night rotation, every other weekend

On-Call: Required

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
