Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.

BSN completion required

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Must be able to start within 3 weeks of requested start date. ASAP start dates are required to start within 6 weeks.

For units that auto offer : A maximum of 5 days RTO and no holidays will be approved automatically. RTO over 5 days and holiday requests will have to be reviewed by the facility, which will delay the process.

Required Skills/Experience: Cornell requires experience at a large academic setting (teaching hospital) Skills Checklist in required skill set – matching order skill set EMR experience

Shift & Scheduling: -Call requirement: None -Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend -Start Dates: Weekly start dates 4-6 weeks on average needed to complete compliance
