Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.
BSN completion preferred
Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy: Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: NICU, PICU, Peds Acute Care. high risk delivery attendance, external transports with competency assessment, pediatric ED (Level 1 trauma center), heliox use, HFOV, HFJV.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Pediatrics.

Equipment Used on Unit: Ventilators Required. Servo I. Preferred. Puritan Bennett

Technology Used on Unit:

Unit/Facility Details: VCU is an 600+ bed facility that has been recognized for distinguished physicians. Needs to add Drivers License/State ID and Government Issued Photo ID.

Special Requests: No time off requests during the first week of the contract. RTO should be included at the time of submission
