Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
Proof of Identification
Driver's license required

Types of Patients on Unit: Walkers, Bedside Commode, Bladder Scanners, CPM, Sky lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, vital sign machine, hover mat, bair hugger, & Wheelchairs
Preferred Skills/Experience: Hospital experience and Ortho experience
- Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
- Dressing changes, suture/staple removal
- Foley Catheter
- NG Tubes
- Wound Vac maintenance and removal
Floating Requirements: Other Med-Surg units
Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend
