Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Required Skills/Experience: Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Ventilated patients, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Isolation Precautions, Triage.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Arterial line management

Required Credentials: Government-Issued photo ID. Color or B&W acceptable. Must be clear and legible. Back of card only required if it contains pertinent information.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend / 2 weekends per month

Floating Requirements: Cook is a mandatory float facility, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.

Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles.

Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift.

There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. If they are floated outside of their primary competency, the team-based model will be used.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
